Ever since I was six years old, I've always loved the game of soccer. My parents said when I was little, I couldn't keep still so they decided to put me in soccer in hopes of draining all my excited energy. Little did they know they were just feeding my hunger for the game and my competitive spirit. I am a three sport athlete and I give my all regardless of what sport I'm in, but soccer is the sport I love to play and watch. From full on sprints, to gaining possession from opposition, to being as precise as perfecting an onside pass, soccer demands the most, physically and mentally. I have been playing for ten years and I still I can't get enough of it. I crave the thrill of the game and even the physical exhaustion that follows. Soccer helps me feel relaxed and in control. I have always naturally been good at playing as a midfielder because of my quick reflex actions, my ability to pass the ball accurately, and control the ball effortlessly. I am extremely coachable, and I am always open to what everyone has to say. Finding ways to motivate my teammates is an area which I excel in. My team nominated me for the most inspirational player my freshman year at Ferris High School, and I want to continue to inspire and lead my teammates to countless victories in the future. Last year I had ACL reconstruction, but I am happy to say I am coming back stronger than ever. Academics are extremely important to me, and despite some drawbacks, I've managed to maintain a high GPA. I am open to any college that will help push me to be the best that I can be. I want to constantly continue to grow and learn. I thrive on challenges, and you will never find anyone who has as much drive and tenacity as I do. It has always been my dream to play at the college level and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make that dream come true. I aspire to be a great collegiate soccer player who inspires others to work hard to make a dream happen.
"Success is no accident, its learning, studying, sacrifice, perseverance, and most of all love of what you are doing or learning to do" ~Pele
