Personal Statement
I grew up in Spokane, Washington with a family of five. I've been involved with sports my entire life including; soccer, basketball, and golf. I've played forward most of my live until I switched clubs which my coach moved me to center back. I now play both positions; forward for Gonzaga Prep and center back for Spokane Shadow. My Junior year I made varsity, and this put a whole new aspect on the game for me! I am so much more excited to expand my soccer skills, challenge myself, and develop new experiences. I have a lot more confidence in myself after I made varsity and excelled in my goals. I have such a strong passion for the game and so many goals I want to achieve on and off the soccer field. My goals as a student are very important to me. Academics will always come first. I am a very balanced, organized, and a hard-working student. My goals in my soccer career are to become a better player, leader, team player, smarter with the game, and becoming to notice the little things. I am a good candidate for your team because I'm a leader, a team player, very positive on and off the field, and I am very passionate about soccer. I have been working on my leadership skills on and off the soccer field. I want to strive to encourage the team to do better as well as myself. Playing soccer with a tight group of teammates and becoming a family and playing what we love has always been a big dream of mine. Also stepping up to a higher level of soccer! I know I will have a positive impact and a lasting impression on the team.
