Personal Statement
I am a student-athlete that goes to Franklin Pierce High School and Pierce Community College as a running start student graduating in 2016.This means I will graduate high school with my AA degree. I strive to be the best that I can by devoting much of my time to my studies because I realize that they come first. The remaining time goes to challenging myself on and off the field, whether that means doing an extra workout or choosing a more rigorous course. Besides my education and soccer I invest my time in volunteering at my local hospital. I plan to use my experience in a hospital environment to help me in the future, where I plan to pursue a medical career. I want to become a doctor so that I can help people across the nation and eventually world.
On the field I may be 5'7, but I play much bigger. A few of my biggest strengths are visualizing the field, versatility, accuracy intuition and strategizing. I understand what might happen next during a game and can quickly adjust to the situation.I have played a majority of the positions on the pitch and know what they require in order to help the team throughout the game. I can play with both of my feet as needed and do not hesitate to challenge cross or shoot with my left foot.
Playing collegiate soccer has always been one of my goals and I am determined to work hard to achieve that goal. I am academically inclined and will push myself to get to the next level. It is also important that I attend a school that will challenge me academically and athletically.
