Hi,
I am Avery LaVassar I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. I believe that is when my passion for soccer started. I have always wanted to play college soccer and have always made that my goal in practice and in games. I recently discovered with the shutdown from Covid 19 not only do I love soccer but I need soccer (and school). I continue to work hard to meet my college and athletic goals I have set over the years.
I am quick, my feet are quick and my passes are solid and accurate. I pride myself on the accuracy and success of my passes. I am very well liked on all of my teams and have the ability to get along with everyone. I am an athlete who is highly receptive to coaching – I take what I learn and apply it in practices and games. This also allows me to play other positions as needed by the team. I always encourage my teammates and enjoy their success on and off the field.
I am dedicated to school. I study very hard and maintain a 3.8 -3.9 GPA. Attending a private school I am active within the school (soccer, basketball and tennis) as well as the community. My goal is to attend a college that will challenge me academically along with pursuing my goals of being a nurse. I want to be a positive impact to the school and the team. Thank you for taking the time to briefly know me.
