Personal Statement
Aside from most college athletes, I was a full-time student and a dual sport athlete my freshman year at the Junior College Level - Soccer and Track - making the NWAC Track & Field Championships too. My sprinting speed transfers to the soccer field as an aggressive defender and I have a great deal of endurance. For my Freshman year, I learned a great deal from my Coach Allen Ledesma at SWOCC during the 2017 soccer season. I was elected team captain for the 2nd half of the season where I was able to continue being a positive role model on and off the field at SWOCC. Unfortunately, Coach Allan Ledesma parted from SWOCC going into 2018 season. For the 2018 season and financial reasons, I transferred to Pierce College Raiders in Puyallup, Washington to play in my sophomore season - which allowed a financial break while living at home. I am confident [player in multiple positions and a positive leader in an aggressive playing environment.
Currently, I am staying active and training and have put in extra time with my skills Trainer, Sarah to improve my skills. I fully intend to merge my skills to continue be successful in both academics and athletics. I am looking for the best college fit for Criminal Justice and Wildlife Studies and a solid coaching staff that wants to challenge their players. My best college fit includes the following: the best academic support team for my major, a team where I can contribute to positive environment, great communication between coaching staff and players, team building and an overall desire to win. I am pursuing a degree in Environmental & Wildlife Studies and Criminal Justice and working towards my future career to become a Fish & Game Warden is my top priority. I am eligible to transfer Fall 2019.
