Personal Statement
I have aspired to play at the collegiate level since I was young. I love the sport and I am working hard to become the best soccer player I can be. I have played soccer since I was 4, so this is my twelfth year playing soccer. I played community youth soccer until I was in the sixth grade. I made the middle school team that year being only one of three sixth graders and the only girl! It was during this year that I started playing travel soccer. I have played with my travel team for 4 years now. My technical ability, strength, agility, and versatility on the field have improved greatly during this time. I can play on defense and on the attack and also have experience as keeper. I have started lifting weights during the off season. My leadership skills have also gotten better during this time. On the field, I try my hardest to communicate effectively to my teammates. I am able to take constructive criticism. I can provide feedback to my teammates in a positive manner.
In regards to college, I intend to major in biology or chemistry. I would like to go to graduate school to be a physician assistant. My overall GPA is 3.85 currently, and I haven't yet taken the ACT.
