Personal Statement
From a very young age, I knew soccer was the sport meant for me. In order to push myself to become a better player, I have worked extremely hard on improving my soccer skills. I am currently the starting attacking midfielder for SC Waukesha, which is part of the Midwest Regional League Premiere 1 Division. My next goal is to find an academically challenging school where I can play competitive soccer.
On the field and off, my greatest characteristic is my leadership skills. I push myself and my teammates to do our best at all times. In addition, I am blessed with great speed and endurance. I was named All-Racine County Runner of the Year and was an All State Academic runner in Cross Country as a freshman. I was also the starting point guard on the Girls Varsity Basketball team where I led the team in assists. Participating in these sports have further developed my leadership skills as an attacking midfielder.
At school, I take Honors courses, which have led me to a better than 4.0 GPA. I have more than 55 service learning hours by babysitting at our local homeless shelter, helping the Special Olympics, and coaching youth basketball and swimming. I will continue to take challenging classes and be involved in community service projects throughout my high school career.
