Malory Russ '22 Recruiting Profile

HI! I am Malory Russ and I am a proud member of the Class of 2022 at Sparta High School (WI). I am a very hard worker, and very fortunate to come from a supportive family. Even though my family has a long history of athleticism, my parents were both college student-athletes and my uncle played in the NFL just to name just a few, I understand the importance of hard work and that nothing is to be taken for granted. I strive to give my best effort, on the field, court, classroom, weight room, and  in the community, while learning from each experience. I feel I am a leader who works well with others, and gives positive support and correction when needed.  As starting point guard on the basketball team, and a young leader on my varsity soccer team, I work to ensure that my teammates understand that we all need to support each other and do our jobs for success. 

My goal is to play at the highest level possible to bring out the best of my academic, athletic, and leadership abilities, and to find a school that matches my career aspirations which I plan pursuing a career as a classroom  or speech/language teacher.  I love playing soccer, and I am looking forward to continuing my education after Sparta High School at the university/college that best fits all of my abilities and interests.
