I am an extremely motivated individual on the court, the soccer field and in the classroom. I have earned a 4.0 GPA or above every semester of high school while taking advanced placement courses, and I plan to do the same in a pre-medical program at the university I choose to attend. My academic achievements also include being a member of National Honor Society and being a Spanish National Honor Society Nominee. Academics are very important to me when making my college choice.
As a captain of my club team, I’ve learned the importance of being a great teammate. I pride myself on connecting with all my teammates, being the hardest worker on the field, and leading by example. It’s rewarding when I hear my teammates mention my ability to exhibit these characteristics as well as being a great leader with a positive attitude. I have confidence that I will continue to bring those assets to the collegiate setting in order to work towards success at the next level.
Individual and team success have marked my career playing soccer for Waunakee so far. As a freshman, I started on varsity, earned 2nd Team All Conference and was awarded as top scorer. Our team was regional champions that year. As a starter my sophomore year, I earned 1st Team All Conference Unanimous, 2nd Team All Area, and Honorable Mention All-State. I led my team in assists and was second in goals scored.
