2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been a year round swimmer for 9 years and am still passionate when it comes to workouts and competing. My dedication to swimming has taught me so much about myself and what I can overcome and achieve. The long hours and sacrifice that comes with year round swimming has given me great conditioning but more importantly has given me a mental toughness that I know will help me through life.
I am a hard worker and answer well to direction and coaching, always looking for ways to improve myself in all facets of my life.
My overall collegiate goal is to be a significant member of a competitive swim team while engaged a strong chemical engineering program to achieve my bachelor’s degree and eventually my masters.
