I am very excited to be swimming at the college level. I have only been swimming for a year. I was a National diver before I switched to swimming. I had been diving since I was 8 years old. Due to my height (6"3), it was time to change sports. I love the water. I love swimming. I practice 6 days a week with ( 6 afternoons and then 3 morning practices too). I take advantage of any swim clinic or camp I can go to. I went to USC swim camp last summer. I have gone there for additional stroke clinics too! Then I just went to Arizona State for a swim clinic with Bob Bowman and Ryan Mallam. They are awesome. Great coaches! I am going to go back for a breast stroke clinic with Ryan Mallam in a few weeks. My best events right now are 100 free, 50 free and 100 Breast. My times are improving. I still have a ways to go... But I am going to get there.
I go to Dana Hills High School. I have been in the HMO program (Health Medical Occupations) since I was a freshman. It is a 4 year program. I am a Junior this year. We go to a hospital every week and watch different medical procedures. I enjoy swimming on the varsity high school team too!
In my free time ( which there isn't much ) I like to go to the beach and be with my friends. Last summer, I was a lifeguard at a local pool. My first job.
