I am now a Junior at Sylmar High School and ended my sophomore year with a 4.0 GPA. I try to swim as much as possible. This summer I joined the swim team and Jr Lifeguard program at my local park. I try my very best to get good grades and be involved at school as much as possible. I am in two college programs at my school. The first one is Upward Bound sponsored by CSUN and the second one is called EAOP sponsored by UCLA. When I join a sport or sign up to be apart of something I dedicate myself and strive to be the best student/athlete I can be. Im a team player and I do my best to help my fellow teammates when they need it. And when I need help I make sure to ask them for some also. I try to keep a positive attitude during practice and everyday life because my attitude not only affects my day it affects others aswell. I really want to improve and be the best I can be. I haven't been swimming for very long like other athletes who've been swimming since they were like 6 but I truly want this more than anything and I will work hard to reach my goal.
