Imperfect. Definition: faulty or incomplete. It's the perfect word to describe me and my life. Throughout my lifetime, I've come to know that my life isn't "the ideal," but I've learned to love it. That's probably why I feel exceedingly motivated to continue swimming, knowing that I could potentially improve myself and my family's lifestyle just by using my talent. I began to swim when I was two, and as I grew older I've realized I'm passionate for the sport. For four years I've been a part of the CARA competitive Thornton swim team and I'm working diligently to better myself as I've learned there's always room for improvement. In the future I hope to have the opportunity to continue swimming once I finish High School to help and encourage others make a difference.
