Personal Statement
I have been a swimmer since I was 7 years old. I swim because I love my team, I love being successful, but also I love the individual aspect of swimming. I know I can't blame my failures on others, but I can only learn from them. I want to find the perfect college fit for me. I want to find a college or university that fits my swimming needs as well as my academic needs.
Although I know that collegiate swimming is hard, it is also can be the best 4 years of my swimming career. I can't wait to be apart of a college swim team. I have put a lot of time and effort into doing my best inside and outside of the pool. As a member of a collegiate swim team, I will put my best foot forward everyday in both the pool and school. In school I am very organized and well-rounded individual, although I thrive in science. In the pool I am a hard worker as well as a team player. I enjoy cheering for others as well as others cheering for me.
As a freshman and sophomore in high school, I competed at the state level and placed 8th in the 200 free relay, my sophomore year. As a club swimmer I have competed at Florida Age Group Championships, Senior Championships, and Sectionals in Florida. I train 6 days a week, including dryland and weights twice a day and put in a little over 20 hours a week of training. I
