I began swimming year round about four years ago. Swimming has helped me in many facets of my life. Because of our training schedule, I have learned to manage my time effectively. Swimming has helped me to understand the meaning of a team and working together.
I do not really like to wake up early in the mornings; however, I love swimming so it is worth it. At this point, I would like to continue to swim as long as I can. Each year that I have been swimming, I have had some significant drops in my times and hope to continue that pattern of improvement.
I would like to continue to swim in college. I plan to study business and animal science, and then go onto veterinary school. Swimming and school are very important to me and I plan to go as far as I can in each.
