Personal Statement

I have always loved the water, and it makes me kind of sad that I started swimming at the age of 13. I wish I started earlier but living in Clark Fork and 30+ miles away from the nearest pool makes it kind of hard. But at least I started otherwise I wouldn't be here today. One thing that I know you will love about me is that I am incredebly dedicated to swimming. Once I started at the age of 13 I couldn't stop. I would have to get up at 4am to be at practice at 5:45am. Even during the summer I get up at 5am to make it to practice at 7am. I think I am different than other recruits because of not only my dedication and the amount of work I put into my swimming. My current High School Coach even tells me to tone down on my swimming. I also am a good leader I have been in my school's Student Council for 2 years once as a Representitive and then as the Vice President. I have also just recently been voted to be Student Council President.
