Personal Statement

My collegiate goals would be to compete in more team events as well a improve the diversity of the events I compete in. I'm a dedicated and hard-working athlete who is willing to put in the hours to achieve my goals. I have achieved a numerous amount of Regional titles in almost all disciplines and have ranked in the top 3 in the country nationally. I also have a 4.0 GPA meaning I can handle vigorous pool schedule as well as an academic schedule.

  • This season I have been doing 7-8 pool sessions per week and 1-3 weight/circuit sessions per week. My sessions consist of A2 sets (heart rate at 140-150), Threshold sets (heart rate at 160-170) and Vo2 max sets (heart rate at 180-200bpm). Each week I swim about 30,000-40,0000m mostly on freestyle and butterfly.
