I have high goals for myself and I am an extremely drivin athlete and student. I have started this recruting process as a sophmore, so I can be completely aware and ready for the years to come.
Through my many years of swimming, I have accomplished and learned life skills that I will carry with me the rest of my life. When I first started swimming, it was through the YMCA Cape Cod Makos at nine years old. I loved the sport, and it gave me a sense of accomplishment. However, around twelve, I started to take swimming more seriously. My desires turned into extreme drive and motivation. I started swimming for Barnstable High School in 8th grade. In Barnstable, 8th grade is part of the High School. Unfortunatly, sophmore year was dissapointing for me. I was sick for the majority of the swim season and needed surgery in April causing me to miss the Y Nationals that i had been training for all year. I was frustrated for not taking any time off due to illness. This year, I am ready to acheive my goals, and being healthy again nothing will hold me back.
Ultimatly, I want to swim for a Division I or III University that academically will allow me to be accepted into Medical School.
