2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been swimming since I was 7 years old. The first time my parents put me in the pool I knew that this is what I wanted to do in life. I know that swimming in college is a once in a life time opportunity and I really hope you give me the opportunity. I have been swimming at the same club my whole life and I really enjoy it. My favorite part of begin on a team is getting to know the people and the coaches that I'm surrounded by. I love begin a leader and push myself to get better every time I get in the pool. I consider myself to be a really hard worker who is up to most challenges.
Currently, at my school, I maintain a high GPA. In the school year of 2017, I am going to start taking a few more AP class, so I can really push myself in the classroom. As for swimming, I plan to swim for both my USA team and High school team until I leave for college. I also coach for the same swim team, that I swim for. Coaching this past year (winter of 2015) was one of the best experiences that I have every had. I loved helping out to teach the young kids the sport I love.
When its my time to head to college, I want to attend the highest level college as possibly that also gives me a really good education. I really want to attend a school that won't only push me in the classroom, but also in the pool. I hope if I'm given this wonderful opportunity, that I can really grow more as a individual and influence the people around me.

- I swam 2 indiviaul events. I swam the 200 free in a time of 1:56.95 and placed 22nd. I also swam the 100 free in the time of 53.92 and placed 24th. I also swam 2 relays in finals we placed 6th in the 200 free relays (I swam 2nd and went a 24.31) and in the 400 free relay we placed 8th (I swam 2nd and went a 53.24)

- At this meet I swam 4 events (this meet was LCM). My first event was the 50 free; I went a 28.52 and placed 92nd. My next event was the 200 free; I went a 2:18.02 and placed 147th. Another event I swam was the 100 fly; I went a 1:10.10 and placed 140th. Finally, my last event was the 100 free; i went a 1:02.36 and placed 122nd.

- My medley relay placed 2nd (I swam free with a time of 23.82), my 200 free relay placed 9th (we would have placed 3rd if we would have made the top heat in finals--- I went 2nd with a time of 24.44), and finally my 400 free relay placed 9th (we would have placed 8th if we would have made the top heat--- I went 3rd with a time of 53.64). In my only individual event I placed 21st with a 54.40 in the 100 free.

- 7/25/14 to 7/27/14
- On Friday, I swam the 200 free in a time of 2:22.66 and I placed 22. I also swam the 100 fly in a time of 1:12.06 and I placed 22. During prelims on Saturday, I swam the 50 free in a time of 28.83 and made it back to finals seated 7th. At finals, I swam the 50 in a time of 28.57 and placed 4th overall. I also swam the 400 medley relay, I swam the fly and went a 1:10.16 and our relay placed 5th overall. On the final day, I swam the 100 free and went a 1:02.14 and went into finals in 4th place. At finals, I went a 1:01.16 and placed 2nd overall. We also swam the 400 free relay, I went last and went a 1:01.78. We placed 5th.
