Swimming has always been a passion for me, I've put time and dedication into my training, and when the hard work pays off that's when I remind myself why I love this sport. Swimming not only has helped me in the pool, but also out. It has taught me how to take on responsibility and learn to manage my time. I work hard in the classroom to maintain my grades and a high GPA, I want to go to a school where not only will I have great swimming opportunities, but great education opportunities also. I am open to where I go to school, I'm looking at schools that will be a good fit for me and my future.
My team is my second family, I don't think theirs many other sport out there where you form such a unforgettable bond with your teammates. My teammates are always there for me and I'm always there for them, loyalty is a very important characteristic that swimming has taught me. With this said, I'm looking for a school where the team is truly a family with the uttermost support for each-other. I like to think I'm a team leader by encouraging others in practice and offering advice to teammates, I want the best not only for myself but for my team.
Swimming is a big part of my life and I want to swim at the collegiate level, I want to create unforgettable memories and create everlasting friendships. I continue to surprise myself with how far I can push myself in swimming, I strive to do better and work harder everyday. As Thomas Edison once said "There is no substitute for hard work." Swimming is a love that I will always have. I hope to attend a college where my swimming will impact the team, and where I can demonstrate my strengths, specifically in distance events. I want to find a school were I'm going to succeed at both the athletic and academic level.
