My name is Alyssa Watson and I am an Army brat that has loved swimming my whole life. At first I would go to the pool just to be in the water, but then I knew there was something more there for me, so I joined my first swim team. I ended up loving it not just because of the competition and fitness but also because I had a whole family that had the same passion as me. I also have a passion for drawing and painting. Sense I ever started school I've taken any kind of art class weather it be drawing, ceramics, 3D art, or painting. Throughout my experiences in art I have found that my passion for swimming and the water has been expressed through small canvas paintings of the ocean, or a poster size pencil drawing of a sea turtle or of anything involving the water. I love to stay active but I also know that my education is a very big priority, so I've learned to balance my sports and academics to where it can accommodate to my schedule and also benefit me. When I graduate from high school I plan to get my bachelors in Kinesthesiology and then get my doctorate in physical therapy. After I get my doctorate I want to become licensed in water rehabilitation and possibly work at the VA with wounded soldiers and veterans.
