Personal Statement
I want to look into colleges at an early age so I can be prepared for my future. What makes me a good candidate is that I work to the best of my abilities and I try hard in practice so that I can go a little bit harder each time. I come from a Christian family and school. My school has taught me how to be a team, to put others first, to motivate each other, and get along. I think the most important thing to do is give it your all while your there, because later you're going to regret not pushing yourself. What makes me different than other recruits is I have a motivation to succeed and compete. Also my maturity level for my goals, realizing what I want earlier on in high school so I can better prepare myself in the future. But the most important thing is being humble and also being competitive. It is important build relationships with your teammates but to also keep in mind that they are your competition. When I win I try not to make it all about me and congratulate others too. It is all about how much I can do more than the average person to get better and improve on my short and long term goals. In academics, balancing a year round sport and studies can be hard. That is why I use the time that is given to me to complete the assignments. It is important for me to achieve in both academics and my athletics. I am usually always there and I commit myself to both school and athletics.
