Hello, my name is Ava Pachek. I have been swimming since I was 7 years old. I started swimming because my dad was a swimmer and I wanted to be like him. Since I started swimming, I have qualified for state every year, regionals 3 times, our Montana Western Zones team 3 times. I was the rookie of the year for my high school team, scoring the most points for my team and earned a letter my freshman year. My sophomore year I had three all state selections and was voted MVP by my teammates. Swimming has been a major part of my life and has taught me many great things about myself and about life.
I would like to continue my swimming career in college for several reasons. Most importantly because I love to swim! I have played sports my whole life and would like to continue to be active. I am a very active person, when I’m not swimming, I compete in track and soccer. My freshman year of soccer I played enough varsity as a freshman to letter as well. I have made a lot of friends in the sports I have been in and being part of a team is important to me and something I want to continue. I also love competing and I have a great work ethic and always want to get better. And I think I would bring a positive energy to a collage team.
