Personal Statement
I have been swimming since I was eight years old. I have always put my best work at hand. I love the sport of swimming and the drive it takes to reach my goals. I am always thirsty for higher achievement and success. Swimming in college at the best level that fits me has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl.
I am very dedicated and competitive when it comes to swimming. There is nothing I would rather be doing. I am a leader in and out of the pool. I encourage my teammates to reach their goals just as much as I want to reach mine. We work as a true family like brothers and sisters. Anything that anyone puts in front of me, I will accomplish the right way and with confidence. I put a smile on my face even when I am having a bad day. Life is too short to miss great opportunities.
In the classroom I strive for and maintain a high GPA. I am involved in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and volunteer coaching younger children how to swim at my club team.
I want to attend a college that brings out the best in me as a student and a swimmer. I am open to all options. I want to find the right college that will push me to become a better person than I was the day before. I hope to be a role model for younger swimmers and student-athletes coming up after me. I want to make my friends and family proud.
