Personal Statement
I started swimming on a team when I was 8. I didn't enjoy it, but then, I started getting better. I found that the harder I tried in practice, the faster I became in swim meets. From there it spiraled, I tried harder and got better. Soon after, I started slowing down again, that's when I joined Charger. I saw immediate results that encouraged me to try even harder. That's how I learned to never give up. Even if things don't go the way you plan, that should never stop you from getting up and trying again tomorrow.
