Personal Statement
I have always loved to swim, beginning back when I was about 5 years old. My family had a small, inflatable pool, and they had to DRAG me out because I loved it so much! I began taking swim lessons when I was 8, and joined my club team when I was 10. I have been on the same club team for 7 years now, and have made made many wonderful, lifelong friendships with the kids on my team as well as from other clubs. I joined my varsity swim team when I was in seventh grade, and have been on the team every year since then. I am excited to bring the same level of dedication and hard work that has helped me achieve my goals thus far in my life to what I hope will be the next phase for me, and that is to swim competitively thoughout my college years!!
