Jaden McGee '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been an athelete all my life. I have played basketball, softball, baseball and soccer. I have participated in gymnastics, karate and cheerleading. I started swimming when I was in 7th grade, age 13, and feel in love with the sport. In 3 years I went from learning the basics to qualifying for OSSAA High School State Finals my freshman year. I have qualified each year since. I can not imagine my life without being in the pool everyday, and look forward to continuing my swimming career in college. Backstroke and butterfly are my favorites, but I will swim whatever I can just to be in the pool! I am a hard worker and very commited to my sport. The school I had attended most of my life cut the swim program just before the start of my senior year of high school. I left my family, friends and teammates and moved 75 miles away from home so that I could continue to swim. As I said, I love to swim!
