Allison Brownlee '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations are very high, not only in high school but college as well. I am a very hard worker and when I put my heart into something, I work hard to achieve it. My goals in high school is to drop time and break most of my high school records. I aim to place in the top 6 and win my events at WPIALs but also at States. My college goals are to get an education, swim in college, and to also do great things in the pool. I am very different than other athletes. Even though I swam for a long time, I don't know everything. I am open to any suggestions and support that can help me improve my techniques, swims, endurance, improve and drop my times. I am a coachable and learning machine. I also embrace conflicts and obstacles. I push through and learn from those challenges. I know facing adversity is part of being successful. Athletics are very important to me but so are my academics. I take pride in getting good grades and I do my best to achieve them, even if I have to ask for help. I have a quote, "I will do whatever it takes to make me the best person I can be."
