Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Megan Remaley, and I am a junior in high school. I am 17 years old and I have been swimming since the age of 4 in our summer league. I have done my area's club team for 4 years and my high school team for 3. On my high school team, I have learned a lot about having a good work ethic, team work and respectful sportsmanship. I love being a part of a loving team with an everlasting bond. Aside from swimming, I have danced since I was 2 and competitively for 3 years, and I have also done pole vaulting on the track team for 5 years. In my 2012-2013 season, I made All American on our 200 Free Relay which was ranked 48th that year. I hope to continue my swimming career in college, as well as get a degree in early and special education.
