Cailin Campbell '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear Potential Coaches,

My name is Cailin Campbell. I am currently a Senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School in Hawley, PA.  As a student athlete here at Wallenpaupack, I am looked upon as a leader and am involved in many different activities within our community.  I have been the President of the Class of 2019 for all four years, a National Honor Society Gold Award member, an FBLA National Competitor, a Student Ambassador for our school district, and a member of both our Wallenpaupack Executive and Athletic Councils.  Along with being involved academically within our school district, I am also a two-sport varsity athlete that competes in field hockey in the fall and swimming in the winter.  I am learning the balance of academics and athletics and what it takes to manage my time equally to have success in both worlds.

One thing I feel makes me different from other athletes and a good candidate for a potential college program is that as I continue to work hard academically and athletically, I am always smiling, in good spirits and having fun in whatever I am doing.  I have always had compliments from my administrators, teachers and coaches of my leadership skills as well as being very coachable and hardworking.  They have told me that they admire my kindness and positivity towards others.  Even as a junior this year, I have been voted captain of both my field hockey and swim teams based on my relationships with my teammates and my positive leadership. 

My goal of becoming an NCAA student athlete is something I am working hard for every day.  As I begin my college search, talking with coaches and visiting schools, I am very excited with all the opportunities that are out there.  I just have to find the "one" place that just feels "right".
