Michelle Whitfield '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michelle Whitfield and I wish to swim in college. I have been swimming since a freshman in high school. When i first started out, i went a 2:10. 28 in my 200 free and a 2:29.29 in my 200 I.M. I have come along way since then. I have totally changed my attitude towards swimming this past year, and my times are beginning to show it. I am a dedicated swimmer who has the highest attendance on my team as of last year. I ask my coach to send me extra morning practices and I am all for improving my swimming and times. This year i was voted the team captain of my high school swim team. I have shown great leadership skills, and I have inspired more of my team mates to go to more practices. I feel as if i have a very positive impact on my team and I always work hard for my team. I am a very determined person, and i never settle for anything but my best. After reshaping my attitude this past year, I have really seen great results. I will continue to work hard in everything I do and I expect to see great results in my future.
