Personal Statement
I'm an independent, determined, self motivated, dedicated swimmer. I am the spark plug of my family, with strong Christian values that have kept me on the right path above peer pressure. I make friends easily, and am very adaptable to change having moved mid semester to a new state and swim team my sophomore year. I accomplish my goals, support my team mates, and never quit. As an African American I am providing a positive role model in a sport where I am truly a minority. I manage a very full training schedule while maintaining good grades. I look forward to the challenge the future holds.
