2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I began competitive swimming about 5 years ago, and since then, swimming has revealed qualities that I never thought I had in myself. Swimming has taught me how to be truly dedicated to something that I love. The sport has made me know the importance of time management with my activities outside the pool. My swimming goals in college are 1) to become a great team member, 2) to set a team record, 3) get a great education, and 4) make lifetime friends. Swimming has taught me how to always give my 100% into every challenge I face, in and out of the water, even when the conditions are not favorable.
