Since childhood I have aspired to be a part of a collegiate level swim team. While swimming plays a major role in my everyday life, academics are just as important to me. Throughout high school I have found a way to perfect my time management and organizational skills, which are vital tools that I must retain in order to have a successful future. I believe that I would be a good candidate for a college swim team because I enjoy being around other swimmers who share many of the same interests as I do. In order to be a good teammate and athlete I must have a positive mindset for myself and my teammates. In addition, I must not create any drama that may result in the need for disciplinary actions to be taken. By being given the chance to participate on a college level swim team and attend the same university/college for academics I know that I will be able to not only respect my classmates and teammates but also my teachers and coaches.
