Personal Statement

I think what makes me a good candidate is that I am a hard worker in and out the pool, a teammate, and good student. I'm determined to be the best student athlete possible, and I'm ready to take on all the work it will take to succeed. I've grown up with swimming most of my life and have come to love the pay off of hard work and the family developed through a team. Along with being an athlete, I strive to keep my grades high. I enjoy school and learning, which helps me maintain my good grades. 

I am different from other candidates because I'm always ready to learn new things and except criticism towards my swimming. I'm willing to put my 110% in every practice to reach my goal. I'm also a very supportive teammate. I love to push my team to do the absolute best they can do and be supportive in what they do. Along with that, I keep my grades very high and make them a very big priority. 

I am ready to work hard and enjoy my time as a college swimmer, serve God, and make my parents proud of me.
