I love to swim. I've been swimming for ten years, and it's a huge part of who I am. I love to train and compete in distance freestyle. In 2012 and 2013, I swam the 200 Yard Freestyle and 500 Yard Freestyle at the Virginia AAA State High School Swim and Dive Championship. At the Tidewater Region Championship in February 2012, I made my first Senior Champs cuts in the 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 Yard Freestyle, and a bonus cut in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and went on to swim those events at the 2012 and 2013 Virginia Swimming Short Course Senior Championships. At the 2013 Short Course Senior Champs, I earned a Senior Champs qualifying time in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and earned Sectional Cuts in both the 1000 Yard Freestyle and the 500 Yard Freestyle. I would love to attend a college where I can continue to grow and improve as an individual swimmer and, more importantly, contribute to the overall success, cohesiveness, and spirit of the varsity team. Academics are also important to me. As a member of the National Honor Society with a current 4.5+ GPA and enrolled in all Honors and AP courses, I would love to attend a school where I can be academically challenged and pursue a major in Math and/or Biology.
