Personal Statement
I have many goals and expectations for my collegiate swimming experience. I hope to leave the program with a deepened appreciation for the sport of swimming. I am a good member for any college team because not only am I a team player, but I am able to be self motivating. I know that I cannot rely on the other swimmers around me to push me because the truth is, they are probably thinking looking at me to help motivate them. Only after I am able to push myself, am I available to aide others with motivation, whether that be verbal encouragement or a volunteer to race against.
