Amanda Wiedoff '16 Recruiting Profile

I have always been eager to learn in and out of the pool.  Out of the pool, Science is my passion.  I aspire to be a science educator, specifically Chemistry.  I hope to continue on to be a professor and be part of a research team that provides innovative solutions to problems.  In the pool, I long to learn techniques that will help me become faster and better.  I listen to my coaches and apply the techniques I learned in practice.  My goal is to continue to be able to compete at higher level competitions.  I have been to a couple Speedo Meets and have had success at those meets.  I am a team player and support my teammates in and out of the pool.  The team that I am on is my family, whether it is high school, club and hopefully college.  I try to get to know all my teammates.
