Personal Statement
I have been swimming in club since I was seven years old and have always loved the water. Swimming has taught me that through hard work and perseverance, I can achieve anything I put my mind to. Since my 8th grade year, I have developed a passion for this sport and want to take my swimming to the next level. I am looking forward to swimming in college. I have attended Western Senior Zones three years in a row swimming the 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly and 200IM. I also attended the 2017 Speedo Sectionals at Federal Way, Washington in March 2017. I have my eyes set on junior national cut times. My current goals are to get junior national cut times in the 50 free, 100free, 100fly, 100 back and 200IM. My love for this sport has continually motivated me to test my limits and push myself harder than ever. I am a very hard worker in and out of the pool. I am a member of the National Honor Society. I love the dedication and accountability of this sport along with meeting new people everywhere I go. I am a team player and do my best to help and encourage my teammates. I'm looking forward to my future!
