Personal Statement
I have been playing tennis since I was 12 years old. Ever since I got runner-up in singles at state as a sophomore in Oklahoma, I have desired to play college tennis. Since then I have moved to Rogers, Arkansas where I now train at the Ozark Tennis Academy and play for Rogers High School. I love to play tennis and am training hard doing drills, match play and working out in the gym to increase my strength. I have aggressive yet consistent baseline shots, as well as a powerful and controlled serve. I am very coachable and listen well when given constructive criticism. I am very dedicated in my athletics but I also study hard and am very diligent in my studies. In the classroom, I take above level classes and maintain a high GPA which has allowed me to part of the National Honor Society. I always give 100% effort in whatever I do and strive to be the best, working above and beyond what is expected of me. I will be one of the hardest working players recruits that you will find. Outside of school, I have played piano over ten years with the same level of dedication and hard work, which is now a part of me I never plan to give up. I would like to attend a college where I can exceed in the classroom and on the court. I hope to motivate my peers and to be a good role model for them as well as make my parents proud. I am excited about what the future holds.
