Chelsey Ruiz '16 Recruiting Profile

The thing that makes me different, is that I don't come from an academy or from money. I appreciate everything that is taught to me by any coach that is willing to work with me. I refuse to let any girl out work me an although many may see my height as a challenge, I am a student of the game that uses all my tools to my advantage. I will study any video that will help me keep growing as a tennis player and will drill my skills for hours. I play everyday for at least 4 hours. I am a very hard worker and self motivated. I try my best in anything and everything. I am very coachable and pride myself in leading by example. I'm motivated in learning different techniques to make myself a better player. I am ranked 62 in girls 16's and I have only been playing for 3 years. My goals are to win and ncaa title along with obtaining a B.A. in bussiness and accounting. I am currently a 3.6 student and a member of nysp.
