My name is Paige Conrad. Tennis is my favorite sport because I love the intensity of being out on the court all by yourself. The only one who can control your destiny is you. That is what I love about the game; Not only must you have tremendous physical abilities, you also must have a strong mental game and the ability to think under pressure.
I would be a great addition to any college program because I would motivate my team mates to work harder and bring up their level of play. I also have a great work ethic and I am always willing to go the extra mile to improve my game. I am always the first person at practice and the last one to leave. During the school year, I spend around 18 hours a week practicing on the court and working out in the gym. During the summer I spend over 40 hours a week eating, sleeping, living tennis.
I'm dedicated not only on the court, but also in the classroom. One of my goals for high school is to graduate in the top five percent of my class of over 900 students.
