As a high school student, I plan to continue my high school degree so that I can attend at least four years of public/private college. As a 4.0 student, I am hardworking and dedicated to my studies. This will continue throughout my college experience. During college I plan to receive my bachelor's degree in business and or creative writing. I love to challenge myself with extra curricular activities and school, therefore in college I would love to join student organized groups and get involved in a collegiate sport. Playing on a collegiate team for tennis would be a great way for me to continue my love and competitiveness for the game, make new relationships with teammates, and learn valuable life skills. As an athlete, I am known to be very supportive of my teammates, competitive, and a leader. I have played at the varsity level since I was a freshman in high school. I am driven to do my personal best on and off the court. This shows in my sportsmanship with my team and opposing teams, as well as in the classroom. With playing high school sports many believe it could be challenging to take honors, advanced placement, or college courses. However, for me, I like the challenge and have been on the academic honors track since junior high. Currently, as a junior, I am enrolled in two advanced placement classes (AP Language and AP European History) and three college credit classes through University of Southern Indiana (Chemistry II, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, and Spanish IV). I have continued to uphold my 4.0 while playing high school tennis and also other extra curricular activities such as musicals, secretary for choir, class president (for 3 years), and student council.
