Ashley Spirrison '18 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be the very best student-athlete, teammate, and overall individual. Balancing academics and tennis is my primary objective. I take a competitive approach to achieving success in the classroom and on the tennis court. I participate in the AP honors program at my high school, rank among the top of my class, have taken the ACT and SAT since 8th grade as part of the NUMATS program, and played number one varsity singles my freshman year. Being named All Conference as a freshman and having my team win sectionals were both great honors. I believe that true life lessons are learned in tennis that can be applied to any aspect of my life. Feedback from my teachers and coaches has been that I am an excellent student and teammate, respectful, and very coachable athlete. I value and appreciate the experience and investment of time that others place in me to assist me in becoming a very well-rounded person. College tennis has been a big part of my family's history, past and present. I hope to continue that tradition through dedicating myself to working hard on and off the court. Most importantly, my faith in God is a part of everything I do.
