My name is Lauren Smorgonsky and I'm a junior at Doherty Memorial High School. I'm 5'7 and 125 lbs. I have been playing tennis for about 6 years and been training hard and competitively the past 3 years. My varsity score for this year is 15:0. I have been competed in a varsity tennis team for my first year because my old high school had no girls tennis team. So instead I competed in many USTA tournaments. My highest ranking is top 57 in New England. I transferred schools after my sophomore year due to my passion to play team tennis. I am focusing hard on my academics as well. I am taking all honors classes and the only junior in my school taking calculus. My GPA is around a 3.3. I'm the recent member of the math club and used to be a member of the chess club at my previous school. I like to volunteer as well to help out the community. I helped out on the local farm (Community Harvest Project) as well at the tennis tournament (Connecticut Open) as a ball person. My total hours from just of summer 2016 was about 40. Thank you for taking the time reading about me.
