Beltide Mensah '18 Recruiting Profile

  In college as a student athlete, I not only what to experience the athletic opportunities, but also academic ones that are brought my way. I want to take on all the challenges being a student-athlete has to offer and use that to my knowledge. I would be a wonderful candidate for a tennis team, because I believe perseverance is the true key to success and I never go down without a fight. Even though tennis is mainly considered an individual sport, you need your team members to cheer you, or strive to make you work harder, and that is what I believe that I can do on a team. I am different from other recruits because of my personality, I am a type person when I'm faced with a challenge, I figured out a way to conquer instead of giving up and that applies to everything I involve myself in.
