I've been playing tennis on the Varsity team since the 7th grade and on the side, I've played alot of mixed doubles tournaments with my Uncle, who got me interested in this sport when I was younger. We do pretty well and usually bring home a trophy or two and these experiences as a younger person playing with adults has shaped some of my on court tenacity too! To increase endurance, speed and overall strength, I have been working with a private trainer for the past three years. Incorporating my own running and group sessions three times a week, and a weekly private with my Coach - have all helped me to gain ground and improve. I am working hard to improve my game and reach some personal goals before college.
My academics are most important to me before all other activities. In middle school, I was a member of JNHS and am member of the NHS in high school as well. I look forward to studying Graphic Design, Business Management and hopefully pursuing Japanese languages and continuing with French and ASL.
For me, the best fit would be a team that is truly team centered - ready to lift each other up, and skilled at providing the right listening when it's needed. Because conditioning and working out are so important to me, I would like to share that with my teammates in hopes that it's an important part of their drive to succeed as well as being a priority during the off season. I'm a bit of a nerd and very focused on my education and the future goals I've set for myself too. Coaching is important - receiving the right feedback and being able to grow in each practice and classroom is what works best for me.
