I aspire to play at a highly academic school where I am also able to play high level tennis. Academics has always been and always will be my main priority when I am in school. I get straight A's and have an extremely good work ethic. While attending one of the hardest high schools in Texas that has college level classes and atmosphere, I have still been able to have great success in tennis also. I really enjoy being on a tennis team because it is such an individual sport so its nice to have people cheer me on but also to be able to cheer others on. I have always brought smiles and laughs to my other teammates at practice and while playing. I have had the amazing opportunity to go to three Junior Team Tennis nationals where my team has gotten third once and National Champions (1st) twice. From this experience I have learned what it means to be on a team and how support and encouragement really matter. Also, I train at Austin Tennis Academy where team work and support is a huge focus. I think from both my academic and tennis experiences and atmospheres I will be ready and prepared to attend a high level college and benefit the team in many ways.
