Carys Turner '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carys Turner.  I have come a long way in a short time.  I have been playing tennis since I was 4 yrs. old, however, my heart wasn't in it until I hit 7th-8th grade.  I found a coach that helped me, "fall in love " with the sport.  I have worked hard over the past year playing in tournaments  and attending camps outside of school tennis in order  to progress up the ranks over the last year.  I practice everyday, in some manner, to work on  my goals towards playing college level tennis.  I have a very strong work ethic for things I really want in life.  I not only listen and learn from my coaches, I observe my peers in order to identify my own weaknesses to continue with my own improvement.  I have been  involved in many organizations, volunteer countless hours in the community, and strive to keep my academic life at its highest.  I realize one must have a balance in life along with God, in order to be successful.  I will continue to work on my rankings, ratings, and scores in order to reach my goals.  Please continue to keep me on your radar because, I promise you, you will know the name Carys Turner in the future!
