Hi Coaches!
My name is Marinn Patch and I love the challenge of competing in tennis. I am determined and work hard for success.
I have absolutely loved playing tennis since I was six years old. I am competitive on the court and enjoy building positive relationships with my coaches and teammates. I have always admired college tennis players and hope to be one in 2022. I am a consistent, solid, tennis player that attacks when I have the right shot. I pride myself in playing each point and match with 100% physical and mental effort.
I understand that it is just as important to have good academics as it is to have an impressive forehand. My GPA is currently a 3.95 while taking honors and AP level classes. I see my college experience to be one of growth and hard but rewarding work. My goal is to explore a science major that will position me well for a nursing career. On the court I plan to be a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team.
I played the #1 singles spot for my High School 6A tennis team my freshman and sophomore year, winning the state title both years. I am a USTA Junior Tournament player and have been ranked as high as No. 5 in my section and No. 291 nationally. I am a three-star recruit on www.tennisrecruiting.net; my Universal Tennis Rating is Singles 7.8, and doubles 8.5.
